The morning was crisp and had a slight breeze, awakening the large brute. Lifting his head, he glanced around at his surroundings to find nothing but forest and nuisance birds. Oh, how he hated those birds. They sing constantly in that happy-go-lucky tune and just waste the day away looking for someone to annoy. He rose to his paws in an odd stretching position as he yawned, revealing his sharp ivories. Shaking his coat from muzzle to tail, he sneezed to get the dirt from off his snout that had stuck to him from his slumber.
He dug his daggers into the soil and stretched again, beginning to walk toward a nearby stream. He had been traveling all over the place for days searching for a place to relax and had finally found it last night. He shook his broad head once more as he reached the stream, bowing down. He began to lap up some water, thinking about what to eat today. He hadn't eaten in days since his last fawn and was quite starving now. He rose his neck up and lowered into a sit, staring at the rippling stream surface.

Hitaru had scented a rogue wolf in his territory. He bared his fangs getting closer to the new wolf, finding him he raised his whipcord and gave snarl. "Who are you and what are you doing in my lands!?" He half asked half demanded from the other. Hitaru was sort of agressive when coming to rank and right now this lone wolf had none and was tresspassing. And Hitaru didnt apreciate[sp] it to much.
He heard the birds chirping in a choir, and the crickets accompanied them. The bubbling of the river also gave a tune making a sort of band. Hitaru didnt get side tracked though his fur bristled and he gave another growl leaving an akward silence between the two. Well, in Hitaru's eyes the birds just greeted this loner into the terra with a nice hello, he looked up at a blue jay twitter out a tune and a robin sang in with him. Hitaru looked back at the unamed fool that journeied into his territory.

The brute sensed another behind him as he bent his ears back to listen carefully. As the alpha snarled and asked his demanding question, Zilar didn't even flinched but instead kept staring at the rippling surface. He parted his jaws and let the words spill out, "I can assure you I am doing nothing but resting." His hind legs rose his rump into a stand as his tail hung lifelessly behind him. He now stared straight ahead and sighed, parting his jaws once more to speak. "Who made you alpha? Who's to say that this forest rules over you, and you are just a mere subordinate? The way I see it; you are nothing, not even a threat, to me."
With that said, he licked his maw and turned to face the so-called 'alpha'. Yes, the brute was about the size of him and could possibly even be took as his sibling, but that wasn't the case. He studied the brute's structure from muzzle to banner and then stared into his eyes. He could tell the brute had some-what a personality like his and that this could possibly be his match. He glanced up at the sky, searching for something, as the nuisances passed by. The sky was slightly dark, for the sun hadn't awoken fully just yet and still hid behind the horizon. The trickling stream was soothing and the slight breeze ruffled the brute's fur as it passed through. He glanced back at the other with a blank expression, one of his various tricks.

Hitaru gave another growl, " And how I'm I suppose to know that your really just resting, Or are you just a spy?" He said stepping forward, lifting his head some. Hitaru glared at the 'loner' and he replied. " The way I see you is just a mere slug who found himself a shell." The alpha was ready to attack or defend himself, and the lone wolf seemed to have a blank stare.
Trickery? Ha, he then sat down fur bristled some on his shoulder blades. His eyes glistened as the wolf looked up, leaving his neck exposed but Hitaru did not lunge out. This loner was diffrent, he seemed just like himself but with reasonable diffrences. Hitaru then asked. "Why rest here, and why question my rank?" He snarled out, fangs visable almost in a twisted smile but he waited for the other to move first.

The dark brute was calm and almost never moved, with the exception of his ears and occasional smirk. His ears flattened to the side of his cranium, no not in a submissive way but in a relaxed posture. His body seemed to lazily stand there with his hackles rose slightly and his 'mane' bristled up. He curled his lip up, revealing his sharp ivories, to emit a soft growl. It was more of a defensive growl than an aggressive one, for he hadn't come here to fight with this immature alpha.
He eased his facial expression with a lick at his maw and lowered into a sit; he had caught himself at valuable time. There was no need for this brute to see his weaknesses, which often revealed themselves while at an aggressive state. "You, as an alpha, should realise that I am no spy. Yes, I would be a likely employee for that job but I would prefer something more valuable such as hunting or beta." This made his slighly ticked off that this brute had suggested he was a spy, for no way in his life were he going to become a filthy spy for some lazy alpha. As far as he was corncerned, if the alpha was so desperate as to see what the other pack was doing then he shall do it himself. He chuckled at the next rediculous (sp?) question and merely ignored them. "You, yourself, are but three years old are you not? If so, then you are just becoming a mature wolf isn't that so?" ____________ In a blur of blue-ish black, a large raven flew upon a branch of a nearby tree. In search of something, she tilted her head left to right and scanned her surroundings. She parted her beak wide and emitted a loud, rattling 'caw' noise. She fluffed her feathers out and flapped her wings, quite frustrated about something. "Where are you, wolf?" The sky was now tinted pink and orange, for the sun was now partially exposed and hit the clouds with a wonderful result. The morning breeze had come to a halt, which made the raven's flying much easier.
Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted two wolves and at that same exact time a familiar growl and voice hit her. She recognized the dark one almost immediately and with a quick flap of her wings, she was off into and sky and gliding toward the two. "Ah, there you are Zilar! You know how long I've been looking for you?" She is a very talkative bird, no matter how anti-social 'her' wolf was. Yes, 'her' wolf is none other than Zilar. She landed upon his skull and pecked at his shoulders once, then flapped her wings once more.

Hitaru Hitaru watched the lones body movements when it turned aggressive Hitaru started to raise his lips to show a snarl but he calmed and the alpha eyed him frowning abit. " Yes, you could say I've just matured and I'am three years of age. Sometimes age does not matter." He pointed out, Hitaru ignored the other question the lone wolf threw at him. Just then, the alpha wolf heard a crow caw out and it flew out toward the loner.
It acted almost like a worried mother, even revealing a name he used it in his next sentence. " So, you are named Zilar, correct?" He asked looking at the crow he then asked her. " Now, who might you be, crow? " He asked as she landed right on Zilars crown. Hitaru let his whipcord flop over his paws maybe he could drain out more information from the bird. He waited for boths reactions.
